A legacy of more than 65 years in Mexico
HDI Seguros, was created as Seguros del Centro, in the city of Leon, Guanajuato, in 1943. In December 1996 it became a General Electric affiliated company adopting the name GE Seguros. In 2004, it became part of Genworth Financial, a leading company in the U.S. and in 24 countries around the world.
HDI-Gerling International Holding AG, based in Hannover, is part of Talanx: one of the oldest and most solid German insurance company groups in the insurance market, with more than 17,000 employees worldwide.
The growth, profits, and work capital of the Talanx group have a proven record of financial soundness, reporting income from premiums in excess of 18.9 billion Euros in 2008.
